Mission Statement
Relay For Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community based health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service. In celebration of life and recognition of our cancer control mission, all Relay For Life events are alcohol and tobacco free.
Description
Relay For Life Great Northwest will be held this year at Warren High School, May4-5 from 6pm to 7am.
Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to bring together those who have been touched by cancer in our community. At the event, we celebrate survivorship and raise money to help the American Cancer Society in its mission to save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer, and empower individuals to fight back. During the event, teams of people gather and take turns walking or running laps. Each team will "camp-out" on the field and enjoy live music, games, food and fun while keeping at least one team member on the track for the entire 12 hours!
