Mission Statement

The Green Festival is a 2-day event co-produced by Global Exchange and Co-op America committed to the movement towards a just and sustainable society. The festival features: Over 400 Socially and Environmentally Responsible Enterprises * Community Groups * Over 100 leading Speakers * Organic Food Court *Local Music * A Networking Center * And thousands of attendees who want to build a just and sustainable world and have opportunities to learn, be inspired, get active, & have fun!

The event was very fun and exciting to participate in, whether it was helping out or browsing around different vendors or even testing some products on display. Plus there are great benefits to volunteering such as the membership for their organization and being able to participate for the event all day when your shift is done. The staff and people you meet are friendly and fun. You learn a lot about the type of things people do related to these fields whether it is about agriculture or food industry or even green projects to help charity. All of these things were amazing to see and do and I would participate in this event again.
