Mission Statement

The goal of Austin Sailboat Rentals (ASR) is to bring the joy and confidence of sailing to each child and/or adult attending one of ASR’s Sailing Classes. Each of ASR’ instructors, counselors and trainers will put a child’s and adult's needs first and the instructors, counselors and trainers goals and expectations second. ASR understands that children and adult learn in different ways at different speeds, and that each child and Adult is at ASR’s sailing classes for different reasons. So to make ASR’s sailing classes and/or camps a successful experience for each of child or adult, instructors, counselors and trainers will make a conscious effort to balance a child’s and adult's needs and expectations with the child and/or adults' outcomes. The learning and teaching process ASR uses, emphasizes on safety, fun and learning while developing safe, confident and responsible sailors.
