Mission Statement

Keith Carson was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 1992, on a platform dedicated to inclusive and accessible government. He represents the 5th district which includes: Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Piedmont and large portions of Oakland, namely West Oakland, North Oakland (Rockridge and Montclair), Fruitvale and San Antonio districts. He seeks to bring together the wealth of talent and creative resources that exist in this area to find solutions to the problems of access to health care, poverty, homelessness, crime, business retention, and scarcity of jobs in our community.
