When we honor our hospice Veterans we like to present them with a hand made blanket done in Red, White & Blue or patriotic materials. This should be the size of a small twin bed quilt. Chapters Health Hospice is now serving Pinellas County. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities! Patient companionship, running errands, respite care, spiritual care, programs honoring vets and first responders. Ther is something for everyone! Some of our patients have few if any visitors. Visits can be brief but are very meaningful to the patient and their family. Reading to a patient, playing music, or just pushing their wheelchair outside for fresh air for a few minutes makes an enough difference. Training and background check is free of charge.
