Mission Statement

  • Learn about our DC CROP Hunger Walk, help plan and organize the Walk held Saturday, May 17, 2014.
  • A community walk, one of 2000 walks around the country, held to raise awareness and funds for local hunger-fighting agencies, and international relief and development organizations.

Description

  • Funds raised are distributed through Church World Service http://www.cwsglobal.org, a portion to local agencies chosen by the local committee, and the remaining to support programs to overcome hunger and poverty and to respond to disasters around the globe.
