Since 1994, Enough is Enough (EIE) has been a leading national authority on parental awareness, education and empowerment with the singular focus to protect children and families from Internet pornography and sexual predation. A non-partisan, 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, it has tirelessly pursued its mission to Make the Internet Safer for Children and Families.
To fulfill its mission, EIE pursues the following comprehensive, three-pronged preventative strategy that recognizes shared responsibility between the public, the Internet industry, and the legal community:
1) Raise the public awareness of the threat of pornography and predation on the Internet and empower and equip parents and other child caregivers to implement safety measures.
2) Encourage the technology industry to implement viable and technological solutions and family-friendly corporate policies to reduce this threat: and
3) Promote legal solutions by calling for aggressive enforcement of existing laws and enactment of new laws to stop the sexual exploitation and victimization of children using the Internet.
EIE has recently added an outreach to faith-based communities, Recovering Hearts. This initiative consists of the Internet Safety 101: Empowering Parents program tailored to meet church needs and EIE's Victim Resources designed to bring hope and help to those whose lives have been affected by sexual exploitation or pornography addiction.
To broaden our efforts, EIE has also partnered with many local and national organizations to stem the tide of Internet pornography and sexual predators affecting the innocence and safety of America's children.
