Mission Statement

Founded on Earth Day in 1993, t he Mid-Michigan Environmental Action Council serves Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties by translating environmental concerns into action by providing education, advocacy, and volunteer opportunities. Mid-MEAC is focused on river protection, green transportation, land use and sustainability.

Description

Mid-MEAC is the leading regional enviornmental advocacy organization. We work with more than 2,000 volunteers each year for events and programs like Recycle Rama, Quiet Water Symposium, Volunteer Stream Monitoring and the Smart Commute Challenge.
