Description

Relay For Life is an overnight event designed to celebrate cancer survivorship and raise money for research and programs. Relay For Life is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local site and take turns walking or running around a track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event - because cancer never sleeps.After nightfall, one of the main highlights of Relay For Life is the luminary ceremony. Hundreds of luminaria candles dedicated to loved ones line the track and are left burning throughout the night.
