Our Mission

To improve the well-being of children and families in Catawba County by providing quality parenting education, support, and referral to other family resources.

Our Vision

The Catawba County Parenting Network will be the primary vehicle through which parents pursue health as a lifelong learning process.

Description

Parenting is the toughest job around with no "how to" manual.

The purpose of the Catawba County Parenting Network is summarized in CCPN's mission statement which says the CCPN seeks to "to improve the well-being of children and families in Catawba County and surrounding counties by providing quality parent education and support services." CCPN accomplishes this purpose partly by bridging gaps between services, preventing duplication of effort and providing our community with the resources parents need to empower themselves. Since its inception, CCPN has helped parents, grandparents and other caregivers, of toddlers to teens, learn to be more successful parents.
