Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide Grand Rapids area refugees with a helping hand up by providing the services and opportunities needed to physically, economically, and emotionally thrive in the community as our neighbors.
Description
Thrive connects refugees to services they would otherwise not be able to access, in addition to providing programs to fill in some of the gaps in services for this population.
We maintain drop-in office hours to assist our refugee neighbors with obtaining green cards, studying for citizenship, and learning English. Additionally, our volunteers work with families in the community after their initial resettlement period is over to provide continued support in areas of need to help them in their transition to life in the U.S. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) agency that was founded in 2011.
