Mission Statement

Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to preserving, restoring, and maintaining Cranbrook House and Gardens and related cultural properties for the enjoyment, education and cultural enrichment of our members, the Cranbrook Community and the public.

Incredible vistas at every turn, the relaxing melody of water streaming out of several iconic fountains, the comforting smell of flowers in one of the many remarkable gardens, the feeling of history and architectural wonder all around you...just a taste of what awaits at Cranbrook House and Gardens, a National Historic Landmark. From spring through fall, guests can tour the oldest manor home in metro-Detroit and the beautiful 40 acres of gardens that surround it; both maintained brilliantly by an incredible non-profit, volunteer run organization, Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary.

I believe that this opportunity should be spread to any and all willing to help save our native plants from destruction. By telling more people about this organization, I am confident that this will benefit the safety of our native plants and help others to gain a multitude of skills.
