Mission Statement

ACS Mission Statement:
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Description

The American Cancer Society-Northern Illinois Region covers the North and Northwest Cook County suburbs and Lake County. We plan and implement community events, cancer education activities and patient services, serving all local residents. Our office is located in Lincolnshire, but many volunteer activities take place locally. Please call or email for more details.
