Friends of Independence Network Students,Inc

Friends of Independence Network Students, Inc (FINS) was created by family members of Independence Network (IN) students to ensure the continued existence of IN. IN is an education based program for disabled adults and it was threatened with closure due to the Santa Clara Unified School District's and the State of California's financial crisis in 2011. FINS,Inc's main focus is to raise money to supplement the state funds that provide services for disabled adults that go to IN. For two years we sucessfully met our annual giving goals by soliciting donations from family and friends. Now our goal is to reach out to a larger pool of prospective donors, including corporations and foundations, to ensure the long term sustainablity of Independence Network.
