As a non-profit organization, our mission is rooted in providing a solid financial education to both clients and the public. Education is a major component of all our counseling services. We provide knowledge, resources and advice to help our clients improve their financial futures now, and for many years to come.

We also offer free educational tools and resources to the public, helping people facing a variety of financial challenges to develop effective financial habits, budget to meet living expenses and manage debt.

Take Charge America has also made significant strides over the past decade to improve financial literacy among the nation's youth. We are proud to be the founding and primary supporter of Family Economics & Financial Education (FEFE), a program we helped establish in 2001 that provides middle and high school teachers nationwide with free personal finance curriculum and training. Currently, more than 25,000 teachers have registered for the curriculum, impacting about 750,000 students annually.
