Description

CORE's Background
CORE Educational Services was incorporated and founded in the fall of 2004 by two dedicated youth workers. Brad Lupien and Gary Lipsky shared a vision of increasing and broadening educational opportunities for older youth in out-of-school time. Brad and Gary, Partners of the for-profit business arc, have served thousands of youth in Southern California since 2002. Both desired to bring their programs into communities whose youth had not benefited from these exciting and educational after school experiences. Their vision was to cultivate leadership and life skills such as confidence, self-reliance, resourcefulness, creativity, and community and to increase learning opportunities at schools to help students gain the competitive edge to succeed in their personal and professional lives. Through CORE Educational Services, Brad and Gary are able to offer these meaningful educational opportunities to underserved communities.
