Description
The London and District Distress Centre is a community-based agency that provides individuals in need with short-term empathetic listening and confidential telephone support, operated 24 hours a day by highly trained and caring volunteers. We are here to listen. Our highly trained and dedicated base of volunteers provide telephone support, resources and problem solving skills, 7 days a week, 375 days a year.
We are a member agency of the United Way of London and Middlesex and apprecaite their financial and partnership supports.
Who Can Call
Anyone can call the Distress Line at anytime, it is free! We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Distress Line is confidential and non- judgemental. We are here to listen and provide telephone support, resources and problem solving skills.
