Mission Statement

Pilot Knob STEM Magnet School offers a comprehensive science, technology, engineering and math curriculum for students in Kindergarten through Grade 4, focused on developing confident and technologically-literate problem-solvers, innovators, inventors and logical thinkers.

Description

The Pilot Knob Parent Teacher Association (PTA) strives to support students and teachers through community building, fundraising, volunteering and more. The organization is open to all parents and guardians of Pilot Knob students. A few of the initiatives sponsored by the Pilot Knob PTA include

  • School -wide events such as the Read-A-Thon, Fall Family Dance and Family Fun Night.
  • Partnering with teachers to enrich the STEM Fair, Wellness Night and Fine Arts and Cultural Fair.
  • Guided field trips to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, part of the Art Adventure Program and end-of-year educational field trips that are grade specific.
  • Fundraising through Box Tops for Education and an annual silent auction.
  • Volunteering in the library, at music concerts, at the book fair, during picture day and more.
