Chrysalis Art Foundation, Inc. (CAF) is a 501(c)3 Texas non-profit corporation dedicated to making art careers viable for those who choose them through education, mentoring, scholarships and grant opportunities.
Chrysalis’ goal is to give emerging artists the professional tools they need to take charge of their artistic destinies as successful entrepreneurs and productive members of their communities. Chrysalis plans to provide:
A forum where new and established artists can learn how to photograph artwork, develop a portfolio, design and install an art event/exhibit, market and sell their work, including researching and selecting exhibit space, identifying their unique demographic and buyer, and negotiating contracts and representation agreements;
A permanent educational gallery for art exhibitions, art restoration, and art history preservation in order to promote and cultivate the visual arts; and
Art education programs and workshops for the public
