Mission Statement

The Santa Fe Botanical Garden celebrates, cultivates and conserves the rich botanical heritage and biodiversity of the region through programs of education and service to the community.

Description

The Santa Fe Botanical Garden runs special events and educational programs for both children and adults from its two wildlife preserves: Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve in La Cienega, NM, and the Ortiz Mountain Educational Preserve near Cerrillos, NM. The SFBG is also in the process of creating a new, more formal botanical garden in the Santa Fe location known as "Museum Hill." Volunteers are the heart of the organization, and they can work on a weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis. New volunteers and members are always welcome.
