Mission Statement

With a passion for cars and helping those in need, Second Chances Garage seeks to make a difference in our community of Frederick County, Maryland by offering "second chances" for individuals and families on their journey to independent living by providing assistance with their personal transportation needs.

Description

Second Chances Garage accepts vehicle donations and with the help of volunteers, transforms many of these cars into reliable transportation for low-income individuals who are referred to the program from Partner Agencies. Other cars with high mileage or expensive maintenance requirements are refurbished and sold on our Public Sales lot to further the work of the Garage.

Additionally, Second Chances Garage operates a Reduced-Cost Auto Repair Program, assisting qualifying low-income individuals and families with their auto repair needs.
