Our Mission Statement

"The Milwaukee Rescue Mission exists to compassionately meet the spiritual, physical and social needs of the homeless and poor in response to the command of Jesus Christ and for the glory of God."

Description

Founded in 1893, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission is Wisconsin's largest homeless shelter for men, women and children, averaging more than 300 guests each night. In addition, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission provides long-term and educational programs for men and women. "At risk" youth from the community also receive spiritual guidance and educational help through the programs of CrossTrainers. Services are provided freely without government funding, through private donations.
