To provide an opportunity for special youths to share a week of fun with their peers, to promote social growth, self confidence, and self reliance.

Description

The Kentucky Lions Youth Camp is a FREE summer camp for youths ages (8 - 15) who are blind/visually impaired and/or deaf/hard of hearing.

The Kentucky Lions Youth Camp for youths who are blind/visually impaired was formed in 1982. Service was expanded in 1992 when a second camp was added for youths who are deaf/hard of hearing.

The camps are held during the same week.
