Hope & Heroes supports the life-saving work at Columbia University Medical Center, where researchers and clinicians are changing the game for children with cancer and blood disorders.

We create a treatment experience that gives patients their best chance to overcome their disease without missing out on their childhoods. We also fund some of the world's most advanced research, which benefits not only the children in our care but also children around the country and the world.

It's for a good cause, and pediatric cancer isn't something to not notice. The faces of the young ones walking to support this cause brings a smile to all the bystanders enjoying their day and I. Children are our future, and it would be a shame to lose our future to this diabolical disease.

The event was very well organized. Lots of people came out to volunteer and participate in the event. Everyone was smiling from ear to ear and it warmed my heart to be apart of such a great cause.

I really enjoyed the day volunteering here and there, I've made a couple of friends, and I had a great time. :)
