Welcome to Carolina House of Durham, a Brookdale Senior Living Community. We are thrilled that you are interested in volunteering your time and services to our community.
To tell you a little more about Carolina House of Durham, we provide our residents with lifestyles, housing care and services in comfortable surroundings combined with exceptional amenities and programs. Through Brookdale’s signature Personalized Assisted Living we customize our care offerings for the individual.
This allows each resident the freedom and opportunity to make choices that will ease their lifestyle transitions. Our residents enjoy life with the support they need, coupled with the proper lifestyle and care accommodations as their needs change. For recreation and well being we offer a variety of special programs for residents to learn, socialize, and enjoy themselves.
Our community and structured leisure programs provide a homelike, family environment for our residents, families and staff. The activities department offers a wide variety of activities beginning at 9:00 am until 8:00 pm daily. This schedule is also very flexible for our volunteers due to the extensive schedule of activities offered.
We appreciate and encourage our volunteers to become active members, and we invite you to attend any activity that is of interest to you. We also would like to encourage you to share any special talents or ideas that would assist in providing quality programs for our residents.
