Errand & Escort Volunteer

Flexible Schedule | Holland, MI 49423

To provide assistance to patient and their family members, visitors, hospital employees and other customers which results in the enhancement of the quality of care delivered. Answer incoming phone calls and in rotation, perform errands as requested which may include the following: Transport patients from one location within the hospital to another, or to the exits upon discharge Transport specimens to the Laboratory Pick up and deliver medical records Deliver food trays and nourishments Deliver supplies from Central Processing and Distribution to units Assist in way-finding for visitors and patients

Share your musical talent

Holland Hospital is seeking volunteers to share their musical talents. Volunteers are need to play the piano in our main lobby. Volunteers typically perform for one hour between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm. Holland Hospital has a piano that volunteers are able to use but volunteers typically provide their own music. We ask that volunteers commit to at least two volunteer shifts each month

Holland Hospital volunteers play a valuable role in creating a positive, patient-focused service for our community. Our committed volunteers come from all over the Lakeshore area to make a difference in the lives of patients, family members and staff by giving of their time, comfort and assistance. Their contribution to Holland Hospital is immeasurable.

We welcome all types of volunteers from the minimum age of 16 years old. Anyone willing to give of their time is welcome to apply and join our volunteer team in helping make a difference in the life of someone else!
