The primary purpose of state parks is to provide opportunities for enjoying healthful outdoor recreation and to serve as outdoor classrooms for environmental education.

Description

Sinnemahoning State Park staff members and volunteers provide environmental education, interpretive, and outdoor recreation programs for school groups and general public audiences, assist in maintaining and improving areas of the park, and provide general information to park visitors.
