Description
The Santa Fe Rape Crisis & Trauma Treatment Center (SFRC&TTC) was founded in 1973 by a small group of women. Together they created a crisis intervention hotline and handled 20 sexual assault cases out of their homes in the first year. In 1975, the group incorporated as a non-profit organization. For the past 31 years, the core emphasis of SFRC&TTC has been the medical, legal, and psychotherapeutic support of sexual assault and abuse survivors. In addition, the Center offers preventative reenactment therapy for youthful offenders and educational programs directed toward empowering our community to heal from and prevent sexual violence. Our multidisciplinary approach to healing brings educators, therapists, administrative staff, forensic interviewers, SANE Nurses, and the Santa Fe Police Department into one facility in order to better support the community that we serve.
