ü Life Styles, Inc. was established in 1976, 30 years ago, by our Executive Director Carol Hart to serve the needs of adults with disabilities.
ü Life Styles, Inc. Mission Statement reads "We will enthusiastically support individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential as contributing members of the community."
ü Since 1976 Life Styles has served over 800 consumers through our services and currently serves 130 adults and teens in Benton and Washington counties.
ü While the majority of our consumers are adults, we work with families with young children.
ü For all of our consumers, individualized support is based upon their needs and their desired outcomes for their life.
ü Life Styles, Inc. offers the most comprehensive approach, offered locally, to meet the needs of adults with disabilities.
ü Life Styles, Inc. offers a unique program called "College for Living" which includes training in life skills development, arts programs, and other independent living skills trainings.
ü Life Styles, Inc.'s other program areas include Case Management, Supported Living Services, Neighborhood Living Facilities and Supported Employment Services.
ü Fayetteville Shredding Company, a division of Life Styles, Inc., is a full service shredding company that serves the Benton and Washington county markets. Our purpose has always been to provide our consumers with a superior opportunity for job training, while offering a vital, cost-efficient service to businesses in our community. Currently, we serve 55 customers.
ü Life Styles, Inc. currently employs 95 employees throughout Benton and Washington counties. Most work primarily at our three main neighborhoods - Sycamore St., Linda Jo St. and Dawn Drive or with individuals living in their own homes in the community.
