Description

The Works; Ohio Center for History, Art and Technology is located in Newark, OH. We are a small ASTC museum. Our first floor is dedicated to hands on learning, while our second floor is devoted to the local history. Our campus also includes the main museum, an Art Gallery, Art Studio, Glassblowing Studio, Restored Interurban Car, Wood Shop, and Print Shop. We inspire learners of all ages with our tours, field trips, home school sessions, and many special events. Our Gallery provides a place for children to be exposed to the arts in a way that may not have been possible otherwise. We offer art classes in many different subjects and for all ages. Glassblowing classes are also offered and we are always up for interacting with our guests on the museum floor.
