Continuum Hospice Care offers a special level of care dedicated to meeting the needs of people at the end of life. It focuses on the emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones, as well as pain and symptom management. Volunteers are an integral part of this care.

Description

The core of our volunteer program consists of personal visits to our patients, visits that provide emotional support and practical assistance and result in assurance that patients are not abandoned and families feel supported. Often, volunteers share their personal talents, foreign language skills, cultural awareness, hobbies and interest in the arts. We also need volunteers to help in our offices.
