Mission Statement

Encore Partnerships matches volunteers who want to use their mind, experience, talents, and enthusiasm to develop significant programs and make significant unique contributions for a nonprofit. Our aim is to match nonprofit organizations with retirees who will develop, and/or implement, special projects for which the nonprofit cannot currently afford to hire. We seek nonprofits who will welcome the volunteer as unpaid, but fully integrated staff, for limited one time defined projects, or ongoing commitments, involved with activities such as planning, project design or implementation, teaching, training. . Our volunteers will create and/or implement sustainable projects that expand the ability of the nonprofit to fulfill the mission of the organization.

Description

Encore Partnerships seeks volunteers who want to use their mind, experience, talents, and enthusiasm to develop significant programs and make significant unique contributions for a nonprofit. We will match their areas of interests with the needs of nonprofits. This includes those who want to develop and/or implement a project or program, training or workshop in their area of interest; teach, coach, counsel, or mentor with an age group of their choice and in an area of their interest, or use their talents and skills in a needed staff role.
