Mission Statement

AseraCare Hospice is a family centered hospice. We provide physical, social, emotional, and spiritual care to terminally ill patients and their families. AseraCare provides care for the entire Central Texas Area

Description

Our volunteers provide patient and family companionship and respite for our client's caregivers. Patients are cared for in their private homes as well as any facility that they may consider home. A once a week visitaion is requested. These visits can be for 15 minutes or more as the volunteer decides. Training, drug, TB, background checks and placement are provided. Careful consideration is given to convenient location, personality compatibility and comfort level.Volunteers provide friendship and company for those who are isolated due to their illness.
