Fundraising/Events Coordinator

Kindred Kitties is looking for a motivated person with a self-starter mindset to coordinate fundraising strategies and who will be responsible for supporting major fundraising programs. Based on an annual goal developed by the Board, this person would be responsible for overall fundraising and solicitation of funds. This person will help to identify new potential donors and organize initiatives to solicit funding. The Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for directing the Events committee, planning quarterly fundraising meetings and developing various fundraising ideas. This position reports directly to the Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities (in tandem with the Events Committee) Oversees and works with the Events Committee Develops a long-term action plan Creates and implements fundraising strategies Seeks corporate sponsors, financial gifts, and recurring donations Maintains relationships with donors and supporters Develops fundraising materials Communicates with supporters via email newsletters and social media Issues donor acknowledgements and thank-you letters Enters data and maintains the database Communicates with the Kindred Kitties Board with progress updates and occasionally attends Board meetings Serves as an ambassador for the organization and promote a positive image/reputation Prepares reports of revenue and cost associated with events Skillset Requirements Organized with willingness to delegate tasks to other members of the Events Committee Possesses comfort level with approaching large and small donors Current Fundraising Events Culvers Fundraiser Noodles n Company Fundraiser Kingfish Night Online Auction Hike to Lower the Spike Spay/Neuter Awareness Walk Interested parties please fill out a volunteer application: https://www.kindredkitties.org/get-involved/new-volunteer-application/
