Mission Statement

The Mission of Peaches-Na-Basket Adult Day Care is to prevent or delay the premature insitutationalization of elderly or disabled adults. Therefore allowing them to remain in the community with family and friends for as long as possible.Still contributing to the general well being of society.

Description

We are a combination health and social adult day care center. We provide services for individuals who can no longer provide care for themselves when care givers work or need respite. We provide medical, social and nutritional services 6 days per week during the hours of 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Our participants are individuals with Alzheimer Disease, or other dementia related illiness, CVA, Heart Conditions or other chronic medical conditions. The average age for participants is 70+, with most coming from low-income areas.

Currently we are in a capital building fund campaign and are in need of fundraising assistance. Our program has a growing waiting list of individuals wanting and needing our services.
