City Park Players is the longest continuously running Community Theatre in Louisiana. We are 60 years old in 2008.

Our live performances are staged at the Bringhurst Park Little Theatre, which has been a standing structure since 1956.

We thrive from memberships, donations and volunteers. We work with other theatrical groups here in Alexandria, LA and we have a passion for theatre.

We welcome new people who are interested, but have never given theatre a try. We work with them to encourage and educate them in the structure and process of live performances. We invite the community, male and female and all races and culturals, with much expereince or none at all, to become a part of the City park Players family.
