Mission Statement

Ashmont Hill Chamber Music is a community-based organization founded to provide an accessible and affordable concert series for the residents of Dorchester and its surrounding communities.

Description

Ashmont Hill Chamber Music features a core group of Boston area musicians who collaborate with guest performers from throughout New England, the nation, and Europe. AHCM musicians and guest artists also are affiliated with organizations such as the Boston Symphony, Cantata Singers, COLLAGE contemporary Ensemble, Boston Musica Viva, Emmanuel Music, New England Conservatory, and Boston University. In addition to its Dorchester performances, Ashmont Hill Chamber Music has performed at Boston’s First Night celebrations, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, The Goethe Institute, and on the WGBH and WCRB radio stations.
