Our mission is to teach effective nonviolent child raising practices based on empathy and compassion in order to deepen adult- child relationships and move towards a culture of peace and understanding.

Description

Our annual Festival of Childhood: Peace through a child's eyes, held in conjunction with the Day of the Child and International Spank Out Day, is an open-air street festival that is free for everyone. For one whole day the block is filled with music, laughter and color as children and families visit community booths and take part in arts activities. All activities are free!! Come join us for a day of fun.This year's Festival we would like to focus on children's health and nutrition. With a current emphasis by health advocates on children's obesity. This years festival will highlight nutrition and exercise through hands on activities, interactive games (jump ropes) art activities.
