




The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, IN are committed to creating positive change in the world. We can not do this alone. We invite volunteers to help us.
Local ministries include:
Providence Health Care provides health services to the elderly.
Providence Food Pantry provides food to the economically poor. The food pantry is financed by donations and staffed by volunteers.
St. Ann Clinic provides medical care and referrals, free of charge, to low-income individuals and families who live at 125 percent of the national poverty level and do not have a private physician or have medical insurance.
White Violet Center for Eco-Justice focuses on the areas of organic agriculture, eco-justice education, and social advocacy.
Providence Center is the welcoming center for the the Sisters of Providence and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It is home to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence, the Heritage Room, and Gift Shop. Pilgrimages, tours, facilities rental, workshops, programs and retreats are all offered through the center.
