Mission Statement
Since its inception in 1982, the mission of Martin's International is to celebrate and recognize the rich quality and musical diversity of Chicago. Martin's International produces three events: The Chicago Music Awards(CMA), International Festival of Life(IFOL) and the International Festival of Life(IFOL).
tHE Chicago Music Awards (CMA), the Chicago Music Awards recognizes Chicago's best and brightest home-produced talent.
The International Festival of Life (IFOL) was created in 1993. The IFOL festival is dedicated to celebrating the humanity of all people.
The International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA), acknowledges and honors the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artists, songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians.
Two themes reflect the objective of Martin's International: "Bringing Nations Together" and "Living Together as One".
Description
Chicago-based, not for profit organization, which produce some of Chicago’s most outstanding special events, such as: the annual International Festival of Life (IFOL), the Chicago Music Awards(CMA), the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) is looking for volunteers with interest in the following areas:
Event Ambassadors
Office administration
Social network research
Media liaison, public relations,
Artist relations
Exhibitors/vendor liason
Marketing
