Mission Statement
Aloha! Na Koa Kai Canoe Club is a unique Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe youth cultural immersion program. We are located in San Diego, Ca. Na Koa Kai Canoe Club is a 501c3 all adult volunteer run nonprofit organization. We organize events throughout the year to raise funds in order to support our unique to the mainland cultural immersion program. We also produce events to assist other charities such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego and the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center in East San Diego. Other past events have included Hawaiian outrigger canoe outings with Hoover high School’s basketball team, Mission Hill’s High School Basketball team, and San Diego Balboa Naval Hospital.
Description
Na Koa Kai Canoe Club is a youth outrigger canoe club located in San Diego. On April 25, 2014, we are having our second annual Hawaiian Style "San Diego Shaka Fest" festival featuring a youth outrigger canoe race and stand up paddle board race. This is a 1 day event located at beautiful Mission Bay, Crown Point Park.
Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and lunch.
