Mission Statement

Starting Artists, Inc. (SA) benefits under-served teenagers in Brooklyn, NY through hands-on training in the arts and entrepreneurship. SA's visual arts and business classes arm youth with the tools to create their own arts-based businesses, ultimately positively impacting their families, communities, and world.

Description

Starting Artists, Inc. (SA) is a community-based arts organization with a new 1,700 sq. ft. storefront in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. SA maintains after school arts programs for teenagers at the Urban Assembly School of Music and Art and will begin on-site programs at its space in Spring 2008.
