The Collierville Literacy Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for adults to attain educational goals that enhance individual growth and benefit families, the workplace and the community.

Description

Collierville Literacy Council is a 501(c)3 agency that trains volunteers to tutor adult students once a week who need help with High School Equivalency diploma preparation and testing and English as a Second Language.

Our one-on-one educational services are provided free to adults, 18 and older. Tutor training workshops are also provided free to adults who want to volunteer as a tutor.

In 2017, 147 volunteer tutors worked with over 1200 adults to obtain a High School Equivalency diploma or improve their listening and speaking skills of English.
