Description

Diverse Professionals Committed to Civic Service

We are professional men and woman who live or work in the Long Grove area (Long Grove, Kildeer, Hawthorne Woods, Palatine, etc.). We meet each Tuesday morning for breakfast, for a good day's start, and for a brief 30 minute program, which concludes promptly at 8:30am. We have had about 30 members at any one time since the club was founded in 1995. In addition to our regular meetings, we have several social events each year - picnics, golf outings, seasonal parties. Some of these events include our families and some include other Rotarians in the area. We support a number of civic and charity projects, most of which are funded by our annual Long Grove Heritage Run & Walk, held each September. Our club belongs to Rotary International, the worldwide organization of more than 32,000 Rotary Clubs in over 170 countries.
