Mission Statement

The Virginia Baptist Homes Foundation supports the work and ministry of Virginia Baptist Homes by developing funds to help our seniors enjoy a loving, welcoming community with quality care, security, dignity, and peace of mind throughout their lifetime.

Description

The funds that we raise help eligible residents who outlive their financial resources needed to cover the cost of their care. During 2013, VBH awarded more than $900,000 in benevolent assistance.

We have four communities in Virginia - Richmond, Culpeper, Newport News and Daleville (Roanoke area). Every year, we host a golf tournament in each city to raise funds for the community's Endowed Fund for Benevolence.

In addition, we raise funds through direct mail, major gifts, and planned giving.
