There are a lot of adjectives we use to describe our parenting styles, yet every family is completely unique. Inspired Family aims to give parents the space to dialogue with experts and each other on the topics that matter to you, from your pre-natal experiences, through infancy and toddlerhood. Our goal is to offer opportunities for parents to become informed and inspired, collecting the tools to make your own set of unique parenting decisions.

Description

The conference, "Inspired Family: A Mindful Parenting Conference", is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Temple University Student Center in Philadelphia, PA. We intend to serve at least 350 attendees at the conference in Philadelphia, though our social media accounts already have over 700 followers! The conference will feature keynote speaker mindfulness author Carla Naumburg, 6 workshop rooms featuring 48 different sessions (check them out here: Workshop Schedule), a huge Marketplace full of vendors and resources, a Children's Theater featuring local music classes and story time, professional photography for bumps/babies, a Babywearing Test Drive Room, yoga and fitness classes, and of course swag bags full of goodies to take home. We intend for this to be the first of many events that help parents make mindful decisions that are right for their families.
