Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church Foundation is passionate about helping youth develop through youth programming. Our first priority are
1. School-Age Youth to increase the phycial and emotional safety of economically disadvantage youth in their homes, schools and communities.
Program strategy: Programming that facilities youth-adult relationships
Other areas of focus are
2. Safety Net Health & Nutrition to decrease food insecurity for low-income residents.
Program strategy: a) Community-based food access every Friday and b) Home-bound food distribution
3. Housing & Homelessness to reduce the number of people who are experiencing homelessness
Program strategy: Homeless prevention
4. Aging to increase or maintain independent living factors for vulnerable, low income adults who are 60 years of age and older
Program strategy: senior crisis intervention; senior system navigation and senior social integration
