Mission Statement

In Palm Beach County, there are more than 100 agencies that feed tens of thousands of hungry children, families and senior citizens. Palm Beach County Food Bank provides food to agencies from Boca Raton to Tequesta and west to Belle Glade and Pahokee. The needs are significant. Palm Beach County Food Bank, (a non-profit organization) rescues, collects and distributes food to agencies that take on the daily responsibility of feeding the hungry. With your support we can make a difference in the lives of children, families and seniors in our community.

Description

Palm Beach County Food Bank is committed to aiding those agencies who take on the daily responsibility of serving the hungry and poor. We are dedicated to improving the collection and distribution process while fighting food insecurity in our community. Palm Beach County Food Bank is the only locally led and governed food bank in Palm Beach County that distributes food to these agencies at no cost.

A food bank operates similar to a wholesale food distributor (such as Cheney Bros. and Sysco) distributing to restaurants and country clubs, where as the Food Bank distributes to local food pantries, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens.
