Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide trained search and rescue personnel for basic ground search, field emergency medical care and the extrication of victims in both wilderness and urban environments upon the request of existing county agencies and to provide any requested support to the Centre County Sheriff's Office.

Description

We are the volunteer Search and Rescue team attached to the Centre County Sheriff's Office under the direction of Sheriff Denny Nau.
We are certified as a Level One team through the Pennsylvania Search and Rescue Council, and a specialized team with the South Central Mountain Regional Counter Terrorism Task Force.
