Mission Statement

To educate the community regarding the benefits of spaying or neutering their pets
Help to make available cost effective ways to do just that
Providing information on how to get financial assistance to get this done
To assist the general public with greater understanding of the fact that there are better ways to place an unwanted pet, other than dumping them on the side of the road or worse!
Making it possible for the animal to stay in a good healthy loving environment while being relocated with another family
To be an advocate for companion animals
To provide comfort, veterinary exams and necessary medications, spay & neuter services to those animals who are awaiting placement into good homes
To work with humane societies, shelters, and fostering programs to assist in increasing the availability of good permanent homes
To provide a working forum for other private shelters to communicate with their peers to improve their skills and outreach
To address the middle ground issue of increasing the numbers of temporary housing and health care for all homeless and displaced animals
To educate the public in proper care and guardianship
To provide an outreach lost and found pets program
To provide an up-to-date directory of all types of shelters, humane societies and rescue organizations in the south central area of Missouri and the north central area of Arkansas
To provide a source for improving health conditions for all companion animals
To provide guidance for other nonprofits to do their work to make the world a better place for people and animals
